        • General document signing services<\/li>\n \t
        • Witnessing services where legally permitted<\/li>\n \t
        • Administrative support related to scheduling and communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nNotaryWorks reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time.\n\n

          Eligibility<\/h2>\nTo use NotaryWorks services, you must:\n

          • Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements;<\/li>\n \t
          • Comply with applicable laws governing the execution of documents;<\/li>\n \t

            • Real estate advice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nNotaryWorks personnel, contractors, commissioned notaries, signing agents, representatives, and AI-assisted systems do not:\n

              • Determine whether a transaction is in your best interests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nQuestions regarding legal rights, estate planning, real estate transactions, lending matters, or the legal consequences of any document should be directed to a qualified attorney or other appropriate professional advisor.\n\nUse of NotaryWorks services does not create an attorney-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, advisory relationship, partnership, or agency relationship.\n\n

                Customer Responsibilities<\/h2>\nCustomers are solely responsible for:\n

                • Understanding the documents presented for signature;<\/li>\n \t
                • Determining whether documents should be signed;<\/li>\n \t
                • Obtaining legal, tax, financial, or professional advice;<\/li>\n \t
                • Providing accurate information;<\/li>\n \t
                • Presenting valid identification;<\/li>\n \t
                • Ensuring documents are complete before notarization when required;<\/li>\n \t
                • Providing accurate appointment information;<\/li>\n \t
                • Complying with applicable laws.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nCustomers remain solely responsible for the legal consequences of documents they choose to sign.\n\n

                  Document Content Disclaimer<\/h2>\nA notarial act authenticates a signature or the taking of an oath or affirmation. It does not validate the contents of a document.\n\nNotaryWorks does not review, verify, guarantee, or warrant:\n
                    \n \t
                  • The accuracy of documents;<\/li>\n \t
                  • The truthfulness of statements contained in documents;<\/li>\n \t
                  • The legality of documents;<\/li>\n \t
                  • The enforceability of documents;<\/li>\n \t
                  • The appropriateness of documents for any particular purpose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nA notarization does not constitute approval, endorsement, certification, or verification of the contents of any document.\n\n

                    Independent Decision-Making<\/h2>\nEach signer is solely responsible for deciding whether to sign a document.\n\nNotaryWorks does not determine:\n

                    • Whether a transaction is advisable;<\/li>\n \t
                    • Whether a document should be signed;<\/li>\n \t
                    • Whether a transaction is fair;<\/li>\n \t
                    • Whether a transaction serves a signer’s interests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nCustomers are encouraged to seek professional advice before signing documents that may affect their legal rights, financial interests, healthcare decisions, or property rights.\n\n
                      \n\n

                      Identity Verification and Refusal of Service<\/h2>\nNotaryWorks is required to comply with applicable Texas laws governing identification and notarization.\n\nValid identification and satisfactory evidence of identity are required before a notarial act may be performed.\n\nTexas law may require a notary to refuse service when identity, willingness, awareness, authority, or other legal requirements cannot be satisfactorily established.\n\nAccordingly, NotaryWorks reserves the right to refuse, suspend, postpone, or terminate services when:\n
                        \n \t
                      • Identity cannot be satisfactorily established;<\/li>\n \t
                      • Identification appears altered, fraudulent, or unreliable;<\/li>\n \t
                      • Fraud or misrepresentation is suspected;<\/li>\n \t
                      • Coercion or undue influence is suspected;<\/li>\n \t
                      • Elder abuse or exploitation is suspected;<\/li>\n \t
                      • Capacity is questionable;<\/li>\n \t
                      • The signer appears unwilling or unable to communicate effectively;<\/li>\n \t
                      • Required witnesses are unavailable;<\/li>\n \t
                      • The signer refuses to take an oath when required;<\/li>\n \t
                      • The signer refuses to acknowledge execution of a document;<\/li>\n \t
                      • The requested act would violate law or ethical obligations;<\/li>\n \t
                      • NotaryWorks otherwise lacks reasonable confidence that all legal requirements have been satisfied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nAny such refusal shall not constitute negligence, discrimination, breach of contract, or service failure by NotaryWorks.\n\nFees associated with completed travel, scheduling, administrative preparation, or other incurred expenses may remain non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.\n\n
                        \n\n

                        Remote Online Notary (RON) Services<\/h2>\nCertain services provided by NotaryWorks are performed using Remote Online Notary (“RON”) technology in accordance with applicable Texas law.\n\nRemote Online Notary transactions may require:\n
                          \n \t
                        • Identity proofing<\/li>\n \t
                        • Credential analysis<\/li>\n \t
                        • Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA)<\/li>\n \t
                        • Audio-video communication technology<\/li>\n \t
                        • Electronic signatures<\/li>\n \t
                        • Electronic record retention<\/li>\n \t
                        • Additional identity verification procedures required by law or technology providers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nNotaryWorks reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or terminate any Remote Online Notary transaction if legal, technical, identity, security, or operational requirements cannot be satisfied.\n\nNot all documents or transactions are eligible for Remote Online Notary services.\n\nCustomers are responsible for determining whether the intended transaction permits remote notarization under applicable law and for consulting with their attorney, lender, title company, or other appropriate advisor when necessary.\n\n
                          \n\n

                          Remote Online Notary Technology Disclaimer<\/h2>\nRemote Online Notary transactions depend upon third-party technology and internet connectivity.\n\nAccordingly, NotaryWorks is not responsible for delays, interruptions, failures, cancellations, or losses arising from:\n
                            \n \t
                          • Internet outages<\/li>\n \t
                          • Power failures<\/li>\n \t
                          • Device malfunctions<\/li>\n \t
                          • Camera or microphone failures<\/li>\n \t
                          • Software defects<\/li>\n \t
                          • Third-party platform outages<\/li>\n \t
                          • Telecommunications disruptions<\/li>\n \t
                          • Cybersecurity incidents beyond our reasonable control<\/li>\n \t
                          • Incompatibility of customer equipment<\/li>\n \t
                          • Failure of a customer to satisfy technical requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIf technical issues prevent completion of a Remote Online Notary transaction, NotaryWorks may reschedule the appointment, require an alternative method of service, or decline the transaction if legal requirements cannot be satisfied.\n\n
                            \n\n

                            Loan Signing Services<\/h2>\nNotaryWorks may provide Loan Signing Agent services in connection with real estate and lending transactions.\n\nLoan Signing Agent services are limited to facilitating the execution of documents and performing authorized notarial acts where applicable.\n\nNotaryWorks does not:\n
                              \n \t
                            • Explain loan terms;<\/li>\n \t
                            • Interpret lending documents;<\/li>\n \t
                            • Provide financial advice;<\/li>\n \t
                            • Negotiate loan terms;<\/li>\n \t
                            • Recommend whether documents should be signed;<\/li>\n \t
                            • Approve or deny loans;<\/li>\n \t
                            • Represent any party to a transaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nQuestions regarding loan terms, interest rates, closing costs, legal consequences, or funding decisions should be directed to the lender, title company, attorney, or other appropriate advisor.\n\nNotaryWorks does not guarantee:\n
                                \n \t
                              • Loan approval;<\/li>\n \t
                              • Loan funding;<\/li>\n \t
                              • Recording of documents;<\/li>\n \t
                              • Completion of a transaction;<\/li>\n \t
                              • The legal effectiveness of any transaction;<\/li>\n \t
                              • Any desired outcome of a transaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
                                \n\n

                                Mobile Service and Travel Policies<\/h2>\nNotaryWorks provides mobile services at locations requested by customers, subject to scheduling availability and applicable law.\n\nCustomers are responsible for providing:\n
                                  \n \t
                                • Accurate appointment information;<\/li>\n \t
                                • A safe and accessible meeting location;<\/li>\n \t
                                • Appropriate parking information when necessary;<\/li>\n \t
                                • Accurate contact information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nTravel fees, after-hours fees, emergency appointment fees, and additional charges may apply depending upon location, scheduling, travel time, wait time, and the services requested.\n\nAdditional fees may apply if:\n
                                    \n \t
                                  • The appointment location changes after scheduling;<\/li>\n \t
                                  • Excessive waiting time occurs;<\/li>\n \t
                                  • The customer is unavailable at the scheduled time;<\/li>\n \t
                                  • Multiple trips become necessary due to circumstances beyond the control of NotaryWorks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
                                    \n\n

                                    Fees, Payment, Cancellations, and No-Shows<\/h2>\nFees for services are due as disclosed at the time of service or as otherwise agreed.\n\nApplicable fees may include:\n
                                      \n \t
                                    • Statutory notary fees<\/li>\n \t
                                    • Travel fees<\/li>\n \t
                                    • Remote Online Notary fees<\/li>\n \t
                                    • Administrative fees<\/li>\n \t
                                    • After-hours fees<\/li>\n \t
                                    • Emergency appointment fees<\/li>\n \t
                                    • Additional service charges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nCustomers may remain responsible for applicable fees if:\n
                                        \n \t
                                      • An appointment is canceled after travel has commenced;<\/li>\n \t
                                      • The customer fails to appear;<\/li>\n \t
                                      • The customer fails identity verification requirements;<\/li>\n \t
                                      • The customer fails to provide required documents;<\/li>\n \t
                                      • The customer otherwise prevents completion of the scheduled service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nRefunds, if any, shall be determined by NotaryWorks in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.\n\n
                                        \n\n

                                        Communications Consent<\/h2>\nBy providing your telephone number, email address, or other contact information, you consent to receive communications from NotaryWorks that are reasonably necessary to:\n
                                          \n \t
                                        • Respond to inquiries;<\/li>\n \t
                                        • Schedule appointments;<\/li>\n \t
                                        • Confirm appointments;<\/li>\n \t
                                        • Provide service updates;<\/li>\n \t
                                        • Deliver requested information;<\/li>\n \t
                                        • Complete requested transactions;<\/li>\n \t
                                        • Provide customer support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nCommunications may occur through:\n
                                            \n \t
                                          • Telephone calls<\/li>\n \t
                                          • Voicemail<\/li>\n \t
                                          • Email<\/li>\n \t
                                          • SMS text messaging<\/li>\n \t
                                          • Website communications<\/li>\n \t
                                          • AI-assisted communications<\/li>\n \t
                                          • Other reasonable methods of communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nMessage frequency will vary depending upon the services requested.\n\nStandard message and data rates imposed by your wireless carrier may apply.\n\nYou may opt out of non-essential SMS communications by replying STOP to any text message.\n\nFor assistance, reply HELP or contact NotaryWorks directly.\n\n

                                            AI-Assisted Communications<\/h2>\nTo improve customer service and operational efficiency, NotaryWorks may utilize artificial intelligence (“AI”) technologies to assist with administrative communications.\n\nAI-assisted systems may help facilitate:\n
